Shanika Express Logistics – Terms & Conditions

General Agreement

By using the services of Shanika Express Logistics, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined below. These terms apply to all shipments, local and international, made through our service.

Service Scope

We provide:

Express shipping (Montego Bay major towns)

Scheduled pickups (Pembroke Pines, West Palm Beach, Miami)

Air & Sea freight forwarding

Vehicle transportation

Local and international shipping

All services are subject to availability and applicable local and international regulations.

Rates & Payments

Base rate: JMD $700 for the first pound

Additional weight: JMD $500 per pound thereafter

Special deliveries and oversized items may attract additional charges

All payments must be made in full before delivery or upon pickup unless agreed otherwise

Pickup & Delivery Schedule

Miami pickups: Wednesdays only

Other U.S. regions: Subject to schedule and availability

Montego Bay deliveries: Major town areas only

Clients will be notified of delivery timeframes once goods are in transit

Packaging & Labeling

Customers are responsible for proper packaging and labeling

Shanika Express is not liable for damages resulting from poor packaging or incorrect labels

Prohibited Items

The following items are not permitted:

Firearms or ammunition

Illegal substances

Perishable goods without prior approval

Hazardous materials

We reserve the right to inspect and reject any prohibited or improperly declared items.

Liability & Insurance

Shanika Express is not responsible for delays caused by customs, weather, or acts of God

Limited liability applies in cases of lost or damaged items unless insurance is purchased

Customers are encouraged to request insurance coverage for valuable items

Customs & Documentation

Customers are responsible for providing accurate documentation for international shipments

Any customs duties, taxes, or fees are the responsibility of the customer

Refunds & Cancellations

Services may be canceled prior to shipment for a partial refund

No refunds will be issued for shipped or delivered items

Cancellations after dispatch are not eligible for refund

Disputes

All disputes must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. Shanika Express will investigate and respond within 7 business days.
